Richard Dawson trained in 3D design and has worked in animation, television, product, architectural and toy design prior to setting up his studio workshop at Woodend Mill in 2007.
 
As an artist/maker Richard works in kinetic sculpture, craft and furniture design, alongside creating installations utilizing video and sound.

Mainly working with timber and organic materials Richard has the creative ability to bring reclaimed materials back to life. Showing work at various art fairs, his work creates a response full of intrigue and fascination. Through the various projects he has embarked on, his works captures the audience and they never fail to be impressed.
