Jacqui Symons

Jacqui Symons is a printmaker focusing primarily on monoprints. Her work is produced through delicate examination of leaves, creating fragile prints. Colour and repetition are used to create both abstract and representational works of art. Each piece is unique and original as Jacqui's technique involves inking and placing each leaf individually which can mean hours of work with a pair of tweezers! The prints have a fabulous effect on the viewer as each monoprint is individual and creates a different sense of feeling.

Jacqui is strongly influenced by nature and the changing seasons, reflecting the beauty and fragility of the trees and plants that surround us.
